Employees will complete the Indigenous Cultural Competence & Humility course via this online platform.
The Indigenous Cultural Competence & Humility course online will take about 7 to 10 hours to complete. This is an asynchronous course – employees can sign in to this site whenever they want and complete lessons, pause, come back to the next lesson, and then download the completion certificate once the course is complete.There is optional homework and reading, as well as the 7WeekChallenge which is available upon completion of the course. This is a list of readings, movies and audio by Indigenous creators to continue your learning journey.
Group Leaders for Bruyere will create Groups, manage the email invitation from the-irg.ca to invite employees to start the course, monitor employee learning progress, and possibly send out reminder emails to employees to complete the course. Employees will be alerted by Group Leaders to start the course together in teams, to facilitate discussions within a team as they work through the course.
Employees are able to sign in to access the course using their work email.
