This is a unique opportunity to learn about Indigenous health funding, access to services, issues and obstacles to quality improvement outcomes.  Participants are required to have completed the ICCH course provided by The IRG or equivalent.  Facilitator Rose LeMay brings over 20 years in Indigenous health and mental health systems, policy and program development in Canada; and international experience in Indigenous mental health.  This is an invitation-only day to IRG clients.  This will be an interactive event geared for executives and organizational leaders for reconciliation strategy.

Learning Objectives

  • Understanding of the differences in funding and access to health services for First Nations, Inuit and Métis peoples; and key Indigenous organizations and leaders in Canada
  • Introduction to Indigenous knowledges about wellbeing
  • Deepen understanding of opportunities for ally organizations for reconciliation
  • Expand professional networks with allies in health leadership across the country
